Environmental Pledge of Stewardship
Bob the Printer pursues a mission of limiting the wasteful use of resources in our business practices by recycling and reducing electrical and water usage.
In printing we also have the burden of reducing the carbon footprint of our client’s projects by selecting recycled papers as the norm. We always source paper that is sustainably harvested and FSC Certified to warrant against destruct ion of rain forest or old growth timber.
In addition the use of vegetable-based and toner inks, instead of petroleum based inks, reduces the toll on both the earth and the employees working in the printing business.
We earnestly work with promotional products vendors who offer quality, not simply the cheapest products and vendors who are in full compliance with product safety regulations.
Bob The Printer remains ever aware of the responsibility to make our world better for us and future generations.
First, it’s nice to meet face to face, eyeball to eyeball,to construct a working, long term relationship. After that, we can work together from afar.I don’t need one time customers. And you don’t need me unless you have ongoing printing, promotional or graphic needs.
Second, I just work for nice folks, good companies, useful charities and such. I’ve been around too long to waste time on big egos and hardened personalities.
Third, Our relationship should be profitable for all of us, so if you are really, really cheap, ask for a referral before we waste each other’s time.
Finally, it doesn’t hurt to have some fun along the way.
What I offer
I started off in journalism, so I can help write copy, use me as a word-smith. I apprenticed for a printer and realized I’m no good at running a printing press or even doing layout, but I understand the processes and respect the professionals who render such. I worked in advertising for years, produced magazine ads, wrote instruction manuals, designed brochures and made a lot of mistakes which I can help you avoid. I strive to make the creation of a new printed item easy for my clients. Or maybe it’s storing recurring items so a client doesn’t run out. Or maybe I can find the unique promotional item that people will actually keep and use. In the end, I strive to make my clients look good.
